My story starts as a 16 year old Junior Gunner in 1989, at 17 I fought in the Gulf, and at 19 fought for people instead of oil by joining the Croat/Bosnian Army in 1992.  I was severly injured and spent the next ten years in a drink and drug fuelled haze trying to block the nightmares and the other symptoms of PTSD.

Eventaully I got myself together and learned to cope. I am now married with four childen and finally put my ghosts to rest when I returned to Croatia in 2008.
